Samir Bhandari
Chairman (Non-Executive)
Samir's experience spans multiple Fortune 500 firms; he started his career in 1989 as a management trainee at Bank of America and worked with the firm in Mumbai and Hong Kong. For the past 26 years, he has been in Singapore, holding senior leadership positions with UBS (Executive Director), JP Morgan (Managing Director) and Nomura (Managing Director). In his last role with Nomura (spanning over 13 years), he was responsible for sales across fixed income and equities in Asia and other countries. He was also a member of Nomura's Asia and Global Executive Committee. Currently, Mr. Samir Bhandari has joined hBits fractional ownership platform as the Chief Financial Officer .
Samir is a CA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
Pranav Joshi
Co- founder and CEO
He heads the business operations of Altamount Capital Management and is responsible for the expansion and joint-venture and collaboration initiatives of the firm. As the tactical head he also guides the initiatives related to the firm’s wealth advisory and wealth distribution businesses as well as counselling families on their philanthropic and legacy planning issues.
During his MBA, as an alumnus of the prestigious Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, he was a recipient of the Wockhardt Silver Medal for ‘Excellence in Management Studies’.
He is a keen marathon runner and works closely with NGOs that are fighting the menace of Child Sexual Abuse
Richa Karpe
Director (Non-Executive)
She has 25+ years of experience in the financial services industry across Private Banking and Investment Advisory.
She was the co-founder of Altamount Capital Management in India where she was primarily responsible for the firms’ Investment management functions. She has also worked at Morgan Stanley and Lloyds TSB Private Banking in London and also with ANZ Grindlays Bank in Mumbai. Richa won the prestigious Securities Institute award for IAC certification in UK. Richa is Managing Director of Altamount Capital UK Limited.
She has an MBA in Marketing and International Finance from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (Mumbai) and Bachelor of Commerce degree from Mumbai University.
Ruby Shinde
Executive Director
With over 20 years in financial services, Ruby specializes in Company Affairs, Compliance, and Operations. As a key leader at Altamount Capital, she heads the firm’s operational excellence, compliance and Corporate Affairs. Previously, she was part of Wealth Management team of Patni Family Office. She holds an MBA in Finance, a postgraduate diploma from ICFAI, and a commerce degree from Mumbai University.
Mitesh Bhatt
Associate Vice President
He is a key member of the corporate advisory group at Altamount Capital. With a solid foundation in financial analysis, strategic planning, and client relationship management, Mitesh plays a pivotal role in supporting senior bankers in various aspects of deal origination and execution.
Prior to joining Altamount, he was a part of the financial due diligence team at Deloitte.
He is a qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAI and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Mumbai University.
Asha Chavan
Manager – Accounts & Taxation
With over 18 years of experience in accounts and taxation, Asha brings strong expertise in financial reporting, tax planning, and regulatory compliance. Her in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and tax frameworks supports the firm’s financial integrity and operational efficiency.
She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Garware Institute and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Mumbai University. Her commitment to accuracy, timely reporting, and compliance ensures the smooth functioning of all financial processes within the organization.
Aachal Jain
Associate - Investment Banking
Aachal is a part of the corporate advisory group at Altamount Capital. Her professional journey includes working with Grant Thornton in the Business Valuation team, where she contributed to a wide range of valuation engagements across diverse sectors. She also gained early exposure to audit during her articleship, enriching her holistic understanding of business and financial processes.Her core strengths lie in financial analysis and modelling, transaction execution, and guiding clients through strategic decision-making processes.
She is a qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAI and holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai
